The Top Gun Complete Arm Care Pitching Program is a training regiment specifically designed to help pitchers during a critical point in their off-season. It’s a 20 session program with an emphasis on velocity development, pitch design, and strength & conditioning. This program will be focusing on long toss, light medicine ball drills to work on pitching mechanics, and a proper post-throwing recovery protocol. There will be bullpens to feel the mechanical changes on the mound that we work on through long toss and medicine balls. The bullpen days will be focusing on command and intent. The primary long toss day will focus on learning how to long toss, feeling the external rotation of the throwing shoulder, and then will finish with a pulldown phrase, building speed on the internal rotation of the shoulder. We’ll finish all throwing sessions with a post-throwing recovery protocol to build back up the shoulder and forearm.
